I modify your stock CA18DET intake plenum to delete a few things for simplicity for “track cars” & to clean up the engine appearance overall.

I remove the IACV, AAC, the 2 bolt grounds, and a few mounting points on the outer runner side of the plenum. (Please see photos) Once removed , ground down & prepped. A 1/8” plate of aluminum is placed over the the holes. After welding the upper portion is shaped & cleaned up.

Intake will be ran over lightly with a DA & chased with scotch brite pads. once finished, customer is responsible for polishing, painting, etc.
